The Agriculture ministry of Mexico has approve a GMO corn planting in the country. They have 2 permits for growing GMO corn, but the reported did not say who were permitted. The planting area will control to grow in areas that have no local corn is grown.
The GMO expand to the world ,benefit to use GMO corn are improve yield, decrease pesticide use, and reduce mycotoxin level. However, a issue of environment and market risk should be considered by country who would like to allow GMO corn crop production and trade.
